Chad, I need more info before starting. Since your final goal is to build, where to buy, what to build and how much to pay is critical. Do you want a neighborhood that is expensive (i.e., Houston Heights, Rice Military, etc.) or do you want inexpensive east side property. A place that currently cash flows may not be in an area you want to live in.
Price obviously is a consideration, as is financing. Investment loans are tougher to get than they used to be. 20% down is minimum.
Anyway, call or email with more specifics and we can start...Thanks...Rich

Hi Rich,

Not sure if the last message went through.

I am looking for a property in the loop that will be cash positive from the start. I also need it to be a property where I own the land. I am from Houston and my family still lives there so I'd like to have the option to build on the land when I come back but until then I'd like the property to pay for itself. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks.
