I have seen this little pocket of homes on Fulton, just inside the Loop. I love them! I went through them when they were under construction and thought they were a bargain then. Where else can you get a recent construction home inside the loop at that price? The light rail has been delayed due to a City fiasco (what's new there, right?) but will eventually go right in front of them. Lindale Park is still my recommended area for future appreciation.
Good luck with your house. It's perfect for someone who likes Lindale Park, but doesn't want the upkeep older homes demand. Let me know if I can help...Rich

Lindale is definitely a transitional neighborhood, I have seen a lot of changes in the last three years that I have been here. Lots of development and lots of young professionals buying houses because of the light rail, low prices and the close proximity to downtown, within minutes of every major freeway.

I am trying to sell a cute 2 story, free standing townhouse, built 2008 (FSBO). Please check the link below for details:

Jennifer, let me update my info on Lindale Park and get back to you. It is definitely on everyone's radar. What really pushes prices are builders, and they just aren't doing anything east of I-45 There are a lot of vacant lots for sale around Fulton corridor that have been on the market for a year. I also haven't heard anything lately on the status of the rail. I assume it is going to be a delayed completion with the rail car contract fiasco. So, my guess is just a steady price increase, which is good in this market.
More in a day or so...Thanks for the comment...Rich

Hi Rich,
What are your current thoughts on the Lindale Park real estate trends in relation to the light rail expansion? Are you seeing the light rail expansion progress increase home sales and regentrification? I live in the Heights in a two-story townhome and am looking at moving to up & coming neighborhoods like Lindale Park, Brooke Smith, or Spring Branch. I've read all your articles on the above mentioned neighborhoods and would like to know your present opinion. I love reading your articles.
Thanks!
