An Interactive Map of Houston Neighborhoods – Heights & Near Northside
Houston has a lot of cool older neighborhoods. As a Heights realtor, my focus is on the close-in northside neighborhoods. This interactive map of Houston neighborhoods shows my areas of expertise. These are areas I know and I care about.
The older areas surrounding the Heights is what this blog is about: Spring Branch, Oak Forest, Garden oaks, Lindale Park, plus lots of others.

There are other cool areas I may add in the future, such as EaDo, East Side, Near Northside, Meyerland. So, you will find posts about these areas too.

Why didn’t you include the neighborhoods north of downtown (below Lindale)?
I wish I had included more areas East of I-45. When i started this blog I knew nothing about this area, and none of my clients had an interest.
Now, however, I think this area is fantastic. I hope to have several listings in the Near-Northside soon…wonderful old homes waiting to be renovated.
My graphics person may be able to modify the map, I’ll know soon. That is one area of websites I know nothing about.

What about Sapp Gardens? Its just north of Brooksmith behind the Canino Farmer’s Market just inside loop 610 and 45. It a wonderful neighborhood within walking distance of the new light rail on fulton. I have property there. it a hidden jewel.
Stuu, You are right. As Heights prices continue to climb, these areas with Heights-like bungalows will become more popular. Brooke Smith has lots of remodels now.
Pricing Sap Gardens is tough; not many sales to go by. I am doing comps for one now…using Brooke Smith as nearest comparable area.
The light rail will definitely help it too. I haven’t heard much about that line lately, all the press has been on the EaDo portion….Rich
