Lindale Park Sales & Price Trends
This neighborhood is not very big, so home sales are never huge. They tend to fluctuate a lot though. You might find 6 or 8 homes for sale one month, and none a few months later. Recently sales have average only about 4 home sales per month. New homes are virtually non-existant.
The table below shows recent sales prices. See the link beneath it for more details.

Note: Building Boom to come. I sold a big lot on Irvington Blvd. last year. The buyers just announced two new homes being built there (as of 3/20/15). This is going to be huge for the neighborhood. This will make other builders and buyers take a second look here. Lot prices will go up, just like they did in Oak Forest years ago.
Lindale Park Land Prices: (Early 2015)
New homes in this neighborhood are almost non-existent, as are vacant lots. However, several properties that are essentially tear-downs have sold. They could be remodeled, or demolished for new construction. Land prices are probably still $20/SF, but several are being offered at $25/SF. There are quite a few homes on 12,000 – 15,000 SF lots here. Buy one of these to build your dream house. Imagine what this would cost in the Heights, Oak Forest or Garden Oaks.
Anybody looking for a large lot to build on should buy here…now.
Lindale Park Resale and New Home Prices It is exciting to say that there are some new homes for sale in the Houston neighborhood of Lindale Park! This has been a long time coming and I think will start to transform the area just like new home construction transformed nearby Oak Forest. Let me start with the new […]
Lindale Park 2nd Half Home Sales I love the quirkiness of Lindale Park. The homes in here are relatively inexpensive still, but the area has big, wide curbed streets. The homes range from ranch style homes to the predominant brick cottages with tall peaked roofs. (A miniature West U, as I have said before) From beautifully restored […]
Lindale Park Home Prices-3rd Q 2013 Lindale Park has been in the news a lot lately. (If you don’t know the area, see my Lindale Park Page) The light rail just opened and no one was run over…that’s good. As I have said before, the rail will be a big boom for the area. I expect […]
Lindale Park Northside Rail Party 1/21/13 The Northline extension of of Houston’s light rail opens Saturday with a party at Moody Park. Free rides on the rail. I have never been a proponent of big government projects. They typically serve to spend massive amounts of money and line the pockets of influential people. When they […]
414 Eleanor in Lindale Park December 2013 Update: This house sold quite a while ago and the interest in Lindale Park has jumped dramatically. Call if I can help you find a home. 414 Eleanor is a 3/2/2 brick cottage for sale in Lindale Park. This is the quintessential brick Lindale Park cottage. It is […]
Lindale Park Land for New Homes Lindale Park is a Houston inner loop neighborhood just E of I-45 from the Heights. It straddles Irvington just inside the 610 N Loop. Land prices in the Heights are crazy. Look just outside the Heights, in Lindale Park, for your next new home project. See the neighborhood page […]
Lindale Park Turns 75 January 2014 Update: Lindale Park remains one of my favorite picks for price escalation. Be sure to read my page on this neighborhood and many posts. Contact me or my team for advice on this and other older close-in neighborhoods. One of my favorite neighborhoods, Lindale Park, has it’s 75th birthday […]
Lindale Park Houses Lindale Park has several renovated homes for sale now. This is different than my previous post, where few homes were available. These range from ~$175K to almost $300K. A few of these are shown in the attached pdf of Lindale Park-Active & Pending Homes. These were chosen to show what is available […]
Lindale Park Update My previous Lindale Park update was Nov, 2010. In it I showed 14 homes active or pending. These ranged from $105K –$325K. Most of these were very nice homes. I drove through a few days ago and it’s entirely different feel. There were very few homes for sale, and no FSBO’s (For […]
