625 Harvard St-Update on HDT’s Remodel

HDT’s renovation on Harvard St, in the Heights Historic District South is still progressing. The siding was installed so you get get a better feel for the space. It’s still tough to visualize with just the interior framing. When sheetrock is installed (next week hopefully) spaces can be better appreciated.

The interior photo show the Great Room addition to the house. It will overlook a screened back porch. This 4 bedroom home will have 2 bedrooms down, plus master suite and 4th bedroom upstairs.
The unfinished room over the garage will have a lot of potential uses.

Since these photos were taken, the wiring and A/C have been installed, and exterior painting has begun. Framing inspection and A/C inspection are due soon, then Polyseal (foam sealing penetrations). After that, insulation can go in, then the sheetrock.

A lot of stuff happens in a short period of time so Dee is stays on site. We still haven’t finalized pricing, but people rarely buy until trim work is done.

Dee and Dave are working on plans for two other homes on 1841 Harvard (a remodel/expansion of existing home) and 1845 Harvard (big new construction). Other homes are planned for Rutland St and W 24th St. Details as plans progress.
