Red Neck Gala to Benefit Sunshine Kids

Scott Mendell of Berkshire Harthaway HS Anderson Properties is coordinating the effort this year to raise money for the Sunshine Kids. The event is free, the concert is free, the food is free. Participate in the auctions if you wish. One of the items being auctioned is a new Harley Super Glide. Bright yellow, it is in our 11th St. office if you care to stop by and see it.

“The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, they provide positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. They organize a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids receiving cancer treatments across North America. This allows the “kids” time to forget about their treatments, and to spend time with other cancer patients helping them understand that they are not alone in their fight.”
