Heights Dining Room Renovation

Dining Room Renovation

HDT Builder’s renovation of 1539 Rutland St is complete. This Heights Historic District home is described in a previous post.

Renovating and expanding an old Victorian is not for the beginner; nor is it for those without experienced crews. This is HDT Builder’s third remodel in the Heights.

To  level an old house, gut it, then do a seamless addition takes talented people. Being in a Heights historic district also takes special understanding and patience to work through the process.

They call upon Sal of Houston Total Carpentry (HTC) to do most of the carpentry.  The builders also use the same plumbing, electrical, and painting crews for each house. They know each other well, and have the same high expectations of craftsmanship.

Watch this video of “Before, During & After” showing the entire process.

To see the finished house, see the final video in link above. Or, of course, give me a call for a tour. Rich Martin 713 868-9008.

Available for sale at $1,435,000. 4 bedrooms (2 up/2 down) each with its own bath.
